The Georgia Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists will meet this Saturday, May 14th at 11:30 a.m. at the Georgia Archives. Bring your lunch and join us.
There will be NO business portion of this meeting. Our topic is an informal presentation by chapter member Laura Carter about IGHR in 2017 and beyond. If you have questions about the changes when IGHR moves to Georgia or how you can help, bring them. There will also be time for an update about the recent NGS Conference in Fort Lauderdale. Any members that attended are welcome to give a brief update about the event.
Immediately following the chapter meeting, the study group will meet. Since there is no business portion of the meeting, the study group might start before 1:00 so please plan accordingly. As announced previously, the article for this study group meeting is “Aaron Strickland’s North Carolina Origin” by Laurel T. Baty, NGSQ volume 104, No 1, March 2016. The study group is open to the public and all are welcome.
